Its Almost Time!

WOW! these past few months have flown by! I cant believe my freshman year is already over and Miss Texas outstanding teen starts in one short Month! My school year was very very busy! I had cheer tryouts, Chapter FFA officer elections, and STAAR test, but those were only a few of the things we had to do! Next year as a sophomore I am going to have the honor of being a Varsity Cheerleader and the Parliamentarian on my FFA chapter officer team! I was also thrilled when I got Advanced performance on 4 out of  5 STAAR test. I was especially excited for Advanced placement on my writing STAAR considering only 3 people in our whole grade got advanced on it. The ending of this year was very bittersweet for me. I am so excited to move on to be a sophomore, but this year was my sister Madison's, final year at Fairfield High school. I cant believe I wont be able to see her everyday in the hallway next year, but I know she is going to make a great Texas Aggie!

Not only have I been very busy with my School life, but also as Miss Fort Worth's Outstanding Teen!

Spring Meeting was amazing as always! It was great to finally meet the MTOT class of 2013 and I can't wait to spend even more time with them at Miss Texas!

I also had the opportunity to play my Fiddle at the Cartmel retirement home in Palestine, Texas. I enjoyed watching the people's faces light up when they heard Devil Went Down to Georgia and Orange Blossom Special. The Miss Fort Worth organization also had its annual Mock Pageant! It was so great to see my MFWSO Family again! I love getting to see them every chance I get!

I also had the opportunity to do one of my favorite appearances! I got to volunteer for the special Olympics! This is my second year to do this appearance and I absolutely loved it both years! This year I had the opportunity to meet a very special girl named Savanah who loves Country Music and most of all Taylor Swift. I also got to see my sweet little Brooke, who was precious as always! I am so blessed that the Miss America organization gives me the opportunity to volunteer for amazing organizations like the Special Olympics.

Just a couple of days ago I got to do my School program at my Hometown elementary School for Mrs. Moore's Second grade class. I talked to the kids about my platform Mallory's Mission; Love the Skin you're in. I shared with the kids how to accept themselves for their differences as well as share my story of being bullied in Jr. High because I was different than my peers. I also shared with the kids that we all have different talents. I told them about my special talent of playing the fiddle, and even played a little for them! They loved the part when I played my fiddle. I ended my school program by signing each of them an autograph picture and asked them to remember every time they look at my autograph sheet that we are all different and unique!

I can't believe there are only 28 days until check in to Miss Texas! It is all coming so fast but I'm so excited and can hardly wait!

More Fun Times as Miss Fort Worth's Outstanding Teen

These past few months have been amazing! School had been very very busy. My cheer team had the great pleasure of cheering on our Fairfield Lady Eagle Basketball team this season. We made it all the way to the Regional Championship! Unfortunantly we came up a little short and did not make it to state. I have also been working very hard with my Debate team getting ready for District coming up this March. STAAR test is coming up soon so we have had alot of studying to do. Cheerleading Tryouts are also coming up, and I can't wait to see what next year has in store for me as a Cheerleader! This next week is Spring Break too! I am so excited!! :-)

I recently had the amazing oppertunity to volunteer for the Tarrant county food bank "Breakfast with the Stars" fundraiser. I had an amazing time as one of the "Stars". It was such a joy to see all of the kids face's light up as they asked for a picture or an autograph from "The Princesses". I have had the oppertunity to participate in this fundraiser for two years now, and it is definetly one of my favorites!
After a fun morning at the Tarrant County food bank My sister, Miss Lubbock, and I had a fun photo shoot with Rejana Krause at Bludoor Studio in Southlake. It was absolutly amazing and I Loved the photos she took! She is amazing!

With only 3 Short Month's until Miss Texas' Outstanding teen, I have been training even harder! I can't wait until Spring Meeting where I will get to meet all of my 2013 MTOT sisters. I am exciterd to get to know all of them! I had an amazing time meeting and spending all week with my 2012 sisters, so I can't wait to see what this year holds! I think it's going to be a great year. We still have MFWSO training every month, even though I look at it as just an excuse to see my wonderful family (;  I am still so excited to be representing the town of Fort Worth, and I can't wait until state!

More Fun Times!

My year as Miss Fort Worth’s Outstanding Teen has been amazing so far! I got to witness my Sister, Morgan, being crowned Miss Lubbock! It was so much fun to get to support her because she always supports me! It will be a special time this summer as Morgan and I will be competing together at Miss Texas and Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen. I can’t wait! J

The MFWSO had the opportunity to have awesome pictures made by the amazing Zac!! It is always so much fun to spend the day with him.

I was able to attend the MPFO and Southlake pageant. It was great to see some of my friends crowned at these prelims. I can’t wait until July!

I had a very fun appearance this month when I attended TCU Frog alley along with two of my sister title holders.  This was such a fun appearance; we got to see the Football players, the Cheerleaders, Twirlers, Show girls, and Band! I enjoyed it, even though I plan to be an Aggie.

It has been a very busy time at my school as well.  We had our final home football game for this year, and it was also Senior Pep Rally Day. My sister Madison is a senior this year so it was a very bittersweet day for both of us! As for the football game, we won! In the last 6 seconds we kicked a field goal, tied the game, went into overtime, they scored, then we scored and went for the two point conversion and by a miracle we made it and won the game! I was a little hoarse the next day!

I also had the amazing opportunity to attend the Christmas party for The Tarrant county Down Syndrome partnership! This was a very special appearance for me because of the little girl I mentioned in my last post, Brooke. There was a big dance floor for us to dance on and Santa even made an appearance. I had an amazing time with all of the kids! I even got to learn some new dance moves from some of them!

On December 8th I had the opportunity to crown the new Miss White Settlement’s Outstanding Teen! I can’t wait to spend time with all of the girls at Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen!

I had a great time at the Miss Texas and Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen winter meeting! It looks like this is going to be an amazing year!

I can’t wait for more fun appearances and time spent with my MFWSO family!

Crowning!

On September 29, 2012 my dream came true when I was crowned Miss Fort Worth’s Outstanding Teen. I am so excited for the year ahead and I am so honored to be representing such an amazing organization. A week after I was crowned our organization created the titles of Miss Carrollton and Miss Keller. I was very excited when my best friend was crowned Miss Carrollton’s Outstanding Teen. I am so excited about the year ahead with all my sister title holders. One of the things I have done since I won was participate in the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome. I was a part of Brooke’s team. I have known Brooke since she was a baby. She is the sweetest little girl I know. This appearance was special to me because of Brooke. She has a smile that is contagious and a heart that is so big. Every time I see her she has the biggest smile on her face. I had an amazing time at this appearance not only with Brooke, but with all of the other kids. This year I look forward to sharing my platform of Mallory’s Mission; Love the Skin you’re in, across the state of Texas. Mallory’s Mission promotes accepting your differences, as well as accepting other’s differences. I hope to help stop bullying because of differences, and teach others that we are all different, and unique. I’ve had a blast since being crowned Miss Fort Worth’s outstanding teen and I can’t wait for many more memories to be made.
